I tried to make her a cute Rin.
Did I succeed?

… *ahem* Anyway, after my profile got revamped a bit, the chibi of Cherry no longer really… fit there. Plus Cherry’s all wintery. So I had to draw a new chibi. Who’d I choose? None other than my adorable Rinny~
I tried to do a sitting pose, but I don’t really know how well it worked out. I also tried to give her fluffy bangs, and gave thicker linearts a shot (mostly because of this) and I think it turned out well in the end : D
…yeah, I think that’s about it. I love Rin in pigtails, oversized sleeves and poofy dresses okay. Have a good weekend everyone, thanks for looking~!

I dunno, I just wanted to try and do weird things. *shrugs*

So I was feeling like drawing something simple and trying out different things than normal with the colours and stuff. And I also felt like drawing stick legs because legs frustrate me. I guess this is what came out.
I ended up drawing Len’s Stylish Energy L outfit from Project Diva F… or some version of it, anyway. I skipped a LOT of the details because like I said, I felt like doing a simple thing. P: I also skipped his shoes. Sorry, Lenny. At first I was intending to draw Stylish Energy Rin, but partway through drawing the clothes I was just like “eh, let’s make it Len instead”.

Yes, I know that I might have layered on way too many effects… but I got to try out stuff and save myself from boredom so I think it’s all good. u3u And it turned out neat, although weird. But I wanted weird, so again, I guess that’s good? Pretty sure that’s all I have to say… Mondays are icky. I feel slow this morning. Bah. Hopefully you’ll have a better Monday than me. :P Thank you for looking!

Um… hi? .3.; I come to you today with a chibi of Miki Hoshii, from the Idolmaster~! She’s my favourite character, though I really like Iori, Chihaya and the Futami twins as well. I mainly drew her so I could try out a new chibi style, and I somehow haven’t done any Idolmaster fanart before so Miki seemed like a good candidate.

Also, it is waaaaaay too hard to find good references of characters from this show. Like, there were a few options, but I didn’t want to draw those… so after a long time of trying to find a decent reference for a decent outfit (I tried looking for outfits for Iori as well, still no luck) I finally just made up my own outfit inspired by a couple things I saw her wear. Baaaah. OTL I do like how it turned out though, gonna need to do some more experimenting, but I especially like how her eyes came out.

Um, so… I saw this picture where the hair colouring was just so amazingly wonderful, and it made me want to hurry up and practice hair colouring some more. Thus, this happened. I was hoping my first upload of the year would be something big and cool and awesome, but I guess this is good enough.
I’m still planning to draw that OC though! Forgive meeeee. ; ;

This time, I drew Ene (from the Kagerou Project) as she is in “Artificial Enemy” and Route XX of “Lost Time Memory”. The two song names rhyme, I wonder if Jin intended that… anyway. I drew her in that outfit just because I wanted to, yes. I reeeeeeeally like how her head turned out, mainly her hair!! I definitely want to see if I can keep doing it this way! I guess I’ll be doing more practicing, haha. By the way, I used Kawiku‘s glitch effect tutorial for the, well, glitches. I did do a different watermark than usual, but this isn’t permanent. It didn’t look good with the usual watermark so Sloan suggested this instead.

One year ago, shortly after the Kagamines’ birthday, I started making a picture. It was of Gumi giving a cupcake and then a kiss on the cheek to Len for his birthday. I did the base colours and then stopped, probably because I had more important things to draw. I didn’t think it looked too bad, though.

This is a redrawing of that really old picture, done completely over the weekend before the big day. u3u I went back to the sketch file and redrew a bunch of things (Len’s face, their hair, Len’s hand, repositioned Gumi’s arm, gave Gumi different clothes… and changed the 5-shaped candle to a 6, of course). Comparing the old one to this one… it makes me really realized how much I’ve improved over this last year. :’D Their hair looked so horrible ahahaha and the lines were so wiggly! I’m really proud of the difference. There’s a couple things I’m not all that happy with here, but it’s still pretty good overall. I made it very shiny. Gumi looks like a carrot. I like how her bangs turned out. And Len’s eyes.

So yes, here is some OTP-ness haha. I imagine that Gumi did this infront of all their friends. Most of them would be like “finally!!” or “oh good for you guys” and Kaito would be like “way to go, Len”. Because he always gives Len stupid dating advice. It’s very funny in my head. Rin and Miku would be shocked because they had no idea Gumi was planning to do that. xDD Ahhhh, such wonderful OTP-ness… <3 Almost forgot to mention - I say "banana boy" in the title because Len likes bananas, so I call him banana boy as a sort of joke or a way to tease him. A way to tease a computer program. Way to go, Shevi. You're not weird at alllllll... Happy birthday you banana boy, take Gumi as my present pffffffft. “Kawaiimines” is a combination of “kawaii” (cute) and “Kagamines”. I just saw it the day before their birthday. It fits them so well. jlshfjsd Happy birthday you two!! <3 This was the only one of the three pictures I didn't rush. OTL I did this one much earlier in the month and didn't plan on doing anything more... until I was convinced to do otherwise. These are just chibis, but they turned out okay, I guess. I designed their outfits myself. I saw that Len's ponytail was tied in a Rin-style bow in Chiho's (is that their name?) 1925 outfit for him made for Project Mirai 2 and thought it was really cute, so I did that here. Their eyes are also very sparkly, yes. So... Rin has always been and likely always will be my favourite Vocaloid, while Len is my favourite Vocaloid out of the guys and one half of my OTP. They've become a large part of my life now. I felt like I had to draw something for their birthday... which is was on the 27th, btw. ...for some reason I don't have much to say here. Thank you for singing for us for these past six years, Kagamines! I really hope that you can continue singing for six more years, and six more years after that. Happy birthday, you sweet, lovely, strong singing princess!

Um, so. I had drawn the chibis first. Then I did the Lenumi thing. And because I did something extra for Lenny, I HAD to do something extra for Rinny too, right? She is my favourite, after all. Of course, I kinda… well, the Lenumi thing was last minute and I was having trouble with ideas and to be honest, I only did part of the sketch the day before her birthday and everything else the morning of her birthday haha… I kinda might have rushed it a bit… forgive me Rin!! ;~;

When I saw the latest update for Project Diva F 2nd, and Rin’s outfit for “Suki Kirai”… let’s just say that I have another module to add to my list of favourites. Omg she is so adorable… the colours, the sweater, the poofy skirt, the striped socks, that neat brooch thing, those perfect low pigtails…! *O* After a little while of not wanting to close the image of her, I decided the extra birthday thing for Rin should be of that outfit. Thus, this. I also decided to do soft shading, dunno why.

Time for Rinny mushies. For probably the whole time I’ve known of Vocaloid, Rin has been my favourite. For quite a long time, the only Vocaloids Sloan and I really paid attention to were Miku and Rin. I think Kokoro got her in that place and I’ve only found more reasons to love her since. I’m sure I’ve said this plenty of times, but she’s just so amazing! Her voice can be sweet and cute, sharp and angry, gentle and warm… she can do so many different things and do all of them well. Her design is totally cute (I wonder if she’s the reason I really like sailor uniforms now u__u; ) and I find it super easy to draw. I get that her and Len’s voicebanks are low quality, but even with that, they’re able to sound wonderful when in the right hands. In my opinion, that makes them even better. They touch hearts and spark peoples’ imaginations even more than the other Vocaloids with their limitless, mysterious relationship. At this point, Rin’s taken over the throne of being my favourite and I doubt anybody will be able to yank her out of it now.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE, EVERYBODY.
<3 <3 <3 So I actually did this last Friday, as a doodle... but now I really like it and it's Christmas Miku so why not post it today? <3 I tried some new things with shading (mainly on the hair, dress and fluffy parts) so hopefully it looks okay. I doubt I'll keep doing it but I need to experiment! It was kind of fun to try it out. I originally planned to draw Snow Miku 2014, because man is she adorable, but she was giving me trouble so I went with the Christmas Miku (from the Project Diva Dreamy Theatre games and the Arcade game) instead. Miku with her hair down is so cute... <333 Also, about the title. Japanese people say "Christmas" as "kurismasu" so if you add a "mi" at the beginning, it's Mikurismasu /brick'd Hm, I actually don't have a whole lot to say... but no matter what holiday you may or may not celebrate, I hope every single person who sees this has a truly wonderful winter.
