So.
I come to you today with a drawing of one my OCs, Miz. I didn’t originally intend for it to be like this – I was just drawing this pose, intending for it to be happy, but then it stopped looking like a girl sitting cheerfully and more like a girl slightly curled into a ball. And I’ve wanted to do a drawing of Miz with this title for a while now, so I figured I’d do this instead!
I like how it turned out – for now, anyway. Has it’s problems, but I decided that perfection doesn’t exist a while back, so yeah. Could be worse, at least. :3 Oh, also… I referenced this tutorial for the wings, this tutorial for the feathers, and Sloan helped me out a bit too. C: I drew it in Art Rage, with the watercolour tool.
It will also be a year from when I joined dA on the 10th, so… I guess this is to celebrate it, in a way, though it wasn’t intentional when I started drawing it. I would put mushy stuff about how grateful I am to all the friends I made in this past year and the years before, but… I don’t know where to start… so here’s to another year of deviant-ness and friends, both new and old! *raises imaginary glass of chocolate milk* :’D
