So I needed a break. I needed something fun and cute to draw. I wanted to draw something where I could play with the eyes.
So, of course, I drew Tamaharu. C:

These two are one of my top three favourite pairings~! On the left is Tamaki Suoh, and on the right is Haruhi Fujioka. Just in case you can’t tell, Tamaki’s a guy and Haruhi’s a girl. Both of them are from the anime/manga, Ouran High School Host Club! I’ve only seen the anime (Too short! Much too short! D| ) but I recommend it to anyone who likes shoujo, silliness and/or romantic comedies~!

I had lots of fun with their eyes! I tried new things with them, can you tell? I really like how it turned out, too, though I’ll need to do more testing before I can figure out how exactly I want to do it. :3

Happy birthday, Gumi! :3 And happy summer, everyone~

So two days ago (June 25th) was Gumi Megpoid’s birthday, or her anniversary. Meaning that three years ago on that day, Gumi was released for the public to buy~! 8DD So I drew this to celebrate~~

I had a much harder time than I should have coming up with an idea, though. ;3; I thought up and discarded so many it’s annoying. And it’s because of that this is late. >:T I only realized when her birthday was when it was the day before, so I spent most of her actual birthday trying to come up with something I could stick with. OTL

Soooo I started looking up Gumi songs to hopefully get inspiration from, and I found Tropical Summer~~ ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3KXqax6HkM ) It did the trick. 8D I’ve been wanting to draw something summery to celebrate… well, summer, so I thought I’d hit two birds with one stone C: It still took me a couple more idea attempts, though. OTL

DON’T I THINK OF THE MOST AMAZING TITLES EVERRRRR? :’D

I just needed a break from the vast frustrations of the body’s anatomy, so I thought I’d do these. I did try out a slightly different style than before, though – I did give them a bit more of a body-like shape, at least xD;;; I wanted to try chibis without them being TOTALLY anatomy-less.

Anyway, these are four of the playable girl trainers from the Pokemon series. From left to right, their names are Mei (Black/White 2), Lyra (Heartgold/Soulsilver), Dawn (Diamond/Pearl), and Hilda (Black/White)! Art-wise, I think I like either Lyra or Dawn best. o:

I drew them because… well, I thought Mei was adorable, wanted to vent my fangirling urge, and thought I’d throw in my other favourite pokegirls while I was at it. |D; Ahaha… all of them (with the exception of Mei) are from games I have.

They’re not really anything special, but I’m happy I was able to try out a slightly new style, vent out my fangirlishness, take a break from serious/hard pictures, and get some practice in at the same time. :’D
